Time flies when you’re podcasting! It’s hard to believe we’re nearing the close of 2022, which was a momentous year for The Podglomerate.

With 2023 on the horizon, we’re reflecting back on 2022 and its “New and Noteworthy” moments:

  • We represented more than 75 podcasts in 2022, accounting for more than 133 million downloads (I know, wild), with our shows topping the podcast charts and receiving features on every major podcast distribution app with national coverage across print, digital, radio, and television.
  • We launched our first original podcast Missing Pages, which was nominated for an inaugural Signal Award (wish us luck), named a “Top Pick of the Week” by Apple Podcasts, and heralded as a must-listen by VultureWashington PostThe Guardian, and beyond.
  • We were proud to work with some of 2022’s critically-acclaimed podcasts including Magnificent Noise’s This is Dating (named a “Best Podcast of 2022” by Vulture and TIME), PBS Going Wild with Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant (named one of the “Best Black Podcasts” by Essence Magazine), and Money Rehab with Nicole Lapin (a #1 Business Podcast, currently nominated for “Best Business & Finance Podcast” at the Signal Awards), among many, many others.
  • We were praised in Hot Pod for our audience growth strategies.
  • We had the honor of collaborating with amazing clients including PBS, Magnificent Noise, Hubspot, NPR stations (including LAist Studios, Virginia Public Media and Wyoming Public Media, and New Hampshire Public Radio), the Harvard Business School, MIT’s Sloan Management Review and BCG, A&E, Lifetime, The History Channel, The Progress Network, The Juggernaut, Stanford’s Center for Longevity, Forever Dog, iHeart, CVS Health, Substack, and many more.
  • We grew our team with amazing production pros and marketing managers, nearly doubling The Podglomerate’s staff size year over year, with no signs of slowing down.
  • We welcomed the return of new seasons and stellar episodes from Podglomerate partner productions including Trail Weight, Rocketship.fm, Creative Elements, The Micheaux Mission, The History of Literature, Book Dreams, Storybound, Green Eggs & Dan, What Could Go Right?, and What the Hack with Adam Levin.

And that’s all thanks to our amazing team, our clients, our collaborators and partners, and you.

Thank you for your continued support in 2022. And here’s to many more stories and sonic moments in 2023.

Best,
